Once upon a time, in a land of soft clouds and twinkling stars, there was a little cloud named Puffy. Puffy wasn’t like other clouds; he loved to paint the sky with beautiful colors. While most clouds loved to be white and fluffy, Puffy dreamed of painting rainbows that stretched across the sky.
Every morning, Puffy would float high above the world, watching the sun rise and set, spreading golden light. But in Puffy’s heart, a rainbow waited to come alive. So one day, he decided to gather a few friends to help him paint the most wonderful rainbow ever seen.
First, he floated over to Raindrop, who was busy sliding down a leaf. “Raindrop, will you help me paint a rainbow?” asked Puffy. The tiny drop giggled, “Of course, Puffy! I can make the colors sparkle!” With that, Raindrop hopped onto Puffy’s fluffy top.
Next, Puffy approached Sunshine, who was waking up in the sky, stretching her bright rays. “Sunshine, will you help us?” Puffy asked. Sunshine beamed with warmth. “I would love to! My light will make the colors shine brightly!” So Sunshine joined the team.
Together they floated to find Windy Breeze, who was playfully rustling through the trees below. “Will you give our rainbow a little dance?” asked Puffy. Windy Breeze swirled with excitement, “Oh, yes! A dance for the most special rainbow ever!” Windy Breeze gently swayed them all through the sky.
Then, the team floated to Skye, a little girl who loved wearing colorful clothes. Skye was sitting in her backyard watching the clouds. Seeing Puffy and his friends, she clapped her hands in joy. “Skye,” said Puffy, “would you like to add the colors you love to our rainbow?”
“Yes, yes!” exclaimed Skye. She pulled out her favorite crayons, each one a different color of the rainbow, and began to draw in the air around them. Brilliant reds, blues, greens, and every shade you can imagine filled Puffy’s fluffy form.
As the rainbow grew wide and colorful, all the creatures below stopped to gaze at the magnificent sight. From the tallest trees to the smallest ants, everyone admired Puffy’s masterpiece. A bright arch stretched across the entire sky, and as Sunshine’s light touched it, the colors glowed with joy.
President Moon, who watched over the night, saw the glorious rainbow and smiled. “Puffy, you and your friends have made the sky more beautiful than ever.” And with that, Puffy and his friends knew their work was complete.
As night fell and stars began to twinkle again, Puffy whispered a thank you to his friends, who drifted back to their places—the Raindrop in the flower, Sunshine resting behind the horizon, Windy Breeze softening in the trees, and Skye dreaming of colorful skies.
Puffy closed his eyes, feeling happy and fluffy, knowing he would always have the best of friends to help paint rainbows in the sky. And as he drifted into dreamy slumber, a gentle breeze carried sweet dreams to all who had watched the rainbow that day.
