Once upon a time, in a bright meadow filled with colorful flowers and singing birds, lived a small, round cloud named Poppy. Poppy wasn’t like other clouds that floated high up in the sky. Poppy liked drifting just above the ground, playing with the butterflies and bees.
One sunny day, as Poppy floated merrily along, she noticed a group of puppies playing in the meadow. They were jumping and running in circles, chasing their own tails and having a blast. Poppy wanted to join their fun, so she gently hovered closer.
The puppies noticed Poppy’s fluffy, white presence and were curious. A little golden puppy named Benny barked excitedly and said, “Hello, Cloud! Do you want to play with us?”
Poppy bounced happily, making a soft, puffy sound that resembled a giggle. “Yes, please! I would love to play.”
Benny wagged his tail and decided to show Poppy how to play tag. “It’s easy! If I tag you, then you have to tag someone else! Ready, set, go!”
The puppies scattered, and Poppy chased after Benny, her cloud form bubbling with joy. When she softly touched Benny, his tail wagged faster. Benny quickly tagged a small, black puppy named Lucy. Lucy giggled and ran after Poppy, trying to catch her.
All afternoon, Poppy rolled and tumbled in the sky as the puppies played beneath her. Whenever they got tired, Poppy would sprinkle a light, gentle rain to refresh them. The puppies loved the tiny, tickling raindrops on their noses.
As the sun began to set, painting the sky with shades of orange and pink, the puppies gathered around Poppy to say goodbye. “Thank you for playing with us, Cloud!” said Benny, licking Poppy’s fluffy edge.
Poppy felt a warm glow inside. Before leaving, she released a final, gentle shower that formed a sparkling rainbow right across the sky. The puppies gazed up in awe at the beautiful arch of colors, feeling happy and sleepy.
“Goodnight, my friends,” Poppy said softly, floating upwards to blend with the stars. The puppies found their cozy spots in the meadow, snuggled close together, and soon drifted off to sleep, dreaming of fluffy clouds and colorful rainbows.
